The International Women’s Economic Forum 2026 was held in the capital — a large-scale platform for dialogue that brought together women entrepreneurs, representatives of business communities, and international partners to discuss key challenges and opportunities for economic development.
In his address, President of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Hennadii Chyzhykov, emphasized that women are playing an increasingly significant role in business today, becoming a driving force behind the country’s recovery and the strengthening of international ties.

During the first panel, participants discussed the importance of women’s business associations as a support infrastructure. President of Business Woman Club, Hanna Krisiuk, shared her experience in building strong communities, developing partnerships, and supporting entrepreneurial initiatives. Special attention was given to the role of networks and associations in helping Ukrainian businesses enter international markets.
The second block focused on practical development tools, including donor programs, grants, education, and mentorship. Olesia Volska-Zaluska, Director of the BLOOM Mercy Corps Ukraine consortium, presented current opportunities for entrepreneurs, while the discussion was moderated by Anna Liubyma.

Among the key topics of the forum were women’s leadership, business internationalization, integration into EU markets, and the growth of the export potential of Ukrainian companies.
The forum demonstrated that synergy, support, and joint actions are shaping a new quality of the business environment in Ukraine.

The event was organized by the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with the NGO “International Women’s Economic Forum” and UKRSIBBANK, with the support of the STEP IN 2 EU program implemented by GIZ and co-financed by the governments of Germany, Norway, and the European Union.
