As part of the Ukrainian Diaspora Business Forum “Global Ukrainians 2026: From Solidarity to Joint Action,” a panel discussion was held on the topic:
“The Role of Ukrainian Women in Attracting Investment to Ukraine and Building Ukraine’s Image in the World.”
The discussion was moderated by Anya Krysyuk, who emphasized in her speech the strategic role of Ukrainian women in international cooperation, investment processes, and shaping Ukraine’s modern positive image on the global stage. She highlighted that women’s leadership today is an important instrument of economic diplomacy and the development of international support networks for Ukraine.

The discussion featured leading Ukrainian experts and representatives of the diaspora:
▫️ Stella-Kateryna Kurhaieva — Representative of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Dominican Republic
▫️ Khrystyna Kmyet — Representative of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Australia (online)
▫️ Kateryna Turska — Founder of the national advocacy movement “Mahi for Ukraine,” Vice President of the New Zealand–Ukrainian Business Association, and initiator of international cooperation forums
▫️ Oksana Shoorli — Founder of Nord Haus UA and Director of the Business Woman magazine representative office in Germany (online)
▫️ Olena Shevchuk — Founder of the NGO “Ukrainians of Armenia”
During the panel, the speakers focused on developing international partnerships through business and diaspora networks, attracting investment into Ukrainian initiatives, strengthening women’s entrepreneurship as a key element of economic diplomacy, as well as tools for promoting Ukraine on global markets and shaping its modern international image.

Special attention was also given to practical case studies of international cooperation and advocacy initiatives already being implemented in various countries around the world, creating a new quality of interaction between Ukraine and the global business community.
The event was organized by the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH program on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

The forum once again confirmed that Ukrainian women in the diaspora are not only about support — they are about influence, investment, and shaping the future of Ukraine in the world.
