On July 11, an intimate women’s gathering Business Woman Denmark × Volyana, symbolically titled “I’m Burned Out. What’s Next?”, took place in the town of Nykøbing Mors (Morsø Municipality, Denmark).
The event was a follow-up to the first Business Woman Denmark networking event, where the topic of burnout proved to be one of the most important for the participants. It was their feedback and desire to continue the conversation that prompted the creation of a dedicated meeting focused on restoring a woman’s inner resources.
The event began with introducing the participants to Business Woman magazine and the activities of its representative office in Denmark. The organizers shared the platform’s mission—to unite women striving for professional growth, support, and mutual inspiration.
One of the speakers was Yuliia Panchenko, an educator with ten years of experience. She drew attention to a topic that is rarely discussed: how a mother’s emotional state affects her children. Drawing on her professional experience, Yuliia explained how to recognize the first signs of exhaustion, why children are deeply sensitive to adults’ emotions, and why self-care is not an act of selfishness but a vital prerequisite for a healthy family atmosphere.
The story of Maryna Kruzhko, head of the non-governmental organization Volyana, was shared with deep sincerity and openness. She spoke about her personal experience of burnout while growing her business and after the birth of her fourth child. Her story served as a reminder that even the strongest women can lose their drive and resources, yet still find the strength for a new chapter in life.
The meeting was held in a format of lively communication, free of lectures and preaching. The participants shared their stories, asked questions, supported one another, and together sought answers to questions familiar to many modern women.
A special highlight of the event was a creative gift from mobile videographer Tetiana Voloshyna. Each participant received an individual, atmospheric video story—a warm keepsake of a day dedicated to self-care, heartfelt conversations, and new connections.
The meeting in Nykøbing Mors once again confirmed that Business Woman Denmark is not just about business, career, or professional development. It is also about the woman behind every successful project. After all, true success begins where there is inner resource, support, and the freedom to be oneself.
