Is it possible to build a new life when it feels like everything has been lost? Maryna Vasylko’s story is not about easy success. It is a story about choosing not to give up, even when life tests your strength again and again.
For Business Woman Magazine, as part of the Power of a Dream project, Maryna shared her personal journey—from uncertainty and fear to creating a meaningful business that now helps other women transform their lives.
In 2022, her life was divided into “before” and “after.”
Pregnant with her second child and caring for a young child, she was forced to leave behind the life she had known. Everything she could take with her fit into a single 30-kilogram suitcase. The business she had spent years building was left behind. Ahead of her was complete uncertainty.
“At that moment, I felt like I had reached rock bottom,” Maryna recalls.
She faced a difficult choice: remain on maternity leave with minimal financial support or take a risk and start over from scratch. There were no guarantees, no safety net—only an inner belief that she had to try.
A new chapter began unexpectedly—with a meditation practice gifted to her as a way to cope with stress and anxiety. What seemed like a small step became the beginning of profound change.
Soon came courses, new skills, and an ongoing search for her true path. Maryna studied blogging, targeted advertising, and video production. She even worked as a targeting specialist while on maternity leave. Yet reality proved far different from the glamorous promises of quick success often portrayed on social media.
The results came slowly. The effort was immense, while the rewards seemed minimal.
Then life presented even greater challenges.
First, she lost her mother. Shortly afterward, she suffered a serious knee injury. At the age of 35, she found herself wearing a full-leg metal brace and facing a necessary surgery she could not yet afford.
It became one of the most difficult periods of her life.
“There was so much pain, fear, and so many questions without answers,” she says.
It was during this time that Maryna began studying quantum psychology. What started as an attempt to understand her own experiences gradually became her life’s calling.
She discovered a new approach to mindset, personal transformation, and the creation of one’s reality. These teachings became practical tools that helped her not only recover but also recognize opportunities where she had once seen only limitations.
Eventually, Maryna left her job and began building her personal brand through social media.
Step by step, she launched webinars, intensive programs, live workshops, and public speaking engagements. Along with them came her first clients—women who trusted her with their stories, challenges, and aspirations.
Her first program launch generated $500. The next brought nearly $5,000.
Yet the greatest achievement was never about the numbers.
Her true victory was realizing that we have far more influence over our lives than we are often led to believe.
Today, Maryna Vasylko helps women navigate periods of change, discover inner strength, and unlock new possibilities. She works with those who feel ready for a different life but have not yet found the path forward.
Her story is not about perfection or a life free from hardship.
It is about the power of choice.
The courage to keep moving forward even when fear is present.
The decision to act when waiting would seem easier.
And the understanding that sometimes the greatest transformations begin at the very moment when everything appears to be falling apart.
Maryna Vasylko’s story has become part of the Power of a Dream project—a collection of authentic stories about transformation, resilience, and the courage to begin again.
Because the power of a dream is not found in waiting for the perfect moment.
The power of a dream lies in choosing to act today.
