How many women today live not the way they want, but the way they “should”? Work, household chores, responsibilities, endless to-do lists — and somewhere in between, their own dreams, constantly put off “until later.”
This is exactly what the story of Olha Kuznets is about. A woman who realized one day: you can wait for the perfect moment for years. But life only changes when you decide to take action yourself.
Specially for Business Woman magazine, Olha shared her story of internal transformation — about choosing herself, taking responsibility, and entering a new stage of life.
“Most women don’t live the way they want. They live ‘the way it turns out.’ And I used to be among them too,” she says.
At some point, Olha realized that her usual life no longer gave her a sense of fulfillment. There were thoughts of change, a desire to move forward, but, as it often happens, there were always reasons to postpone the decision.
“I was waiting for the right moment. More confidence. Better conditions. But one day I realized a simple thing: if nothing changes, nothing will change.”
That was when she made her main decision — to stop putting herself on hold.
Without guarantees. Without absolute certainty. But with an inner understanding that she needed to act now.
Olha started with the simple things: education, a new environment, new acquaintances, and her first steps in business. Step by step, her life began to change.
“People appeared who think broader. An income appeared that depends on me. The freedom to plan life differently, to travel, and to see more opportunities appeared.”
But most importantly, according to Olha, the feeling that she was living someone else’s life disappeared.
Today, she confidently says that the power of a decision does not lie in beautiful words or motivational phrases. It lies in the actions that follow.
One decision.
The first steps.
New results.
A new life.
“Life doesn’t change when it’s convenient. It changes when you take responsibility for yourself,” Olha says.
Her story is about choice. About the courage to stop waiting. About a woman who allowed herself to live differently.
Because you can keep thinking, doubting, and putting things off for a long time.
Or you can start now.
And in just one year, see a completely different life.
Sometimes, everything changes with just one decision — to finally choose yourself.
