On May 1, 2026, the IV International Congress of the Coordination Platform “VzayemoDiia” took place in Uzhhorod, bringing together more than 300 participants — representatives of state authorities, local self-government, the diplomatic corps, civil society, and international partners.
The Congress became an important platform for discussing key challenges facing Ukraine in the context of war, as well as for shaping joint solutions in terms of state recovery and strengthening international cooperation.

Among the participants was the Representative of the Parliamentary Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights in the Slovak Republic, head of the NGO “Nasha Cesta”, Olha Semanchakova, who in her speech emphasized the need for systematic protection of human rights, consolidation of international efforts, and strengthening of partnerships between countries.

Particular attention was paid to veteran policy. The focus was on comprehensive support for Ukrainian servicemen both during their service and after returning to civilian life. This includes social adaptation, access to quality medical and psychological services, as well as the creation of conditions for professional realization and dignified employment.
The Congress also highlighted the role of civil society and international platforms in Ukraine’s European integration processes, the affirmation of democratic values, and countering crimes against the Ukrainian people.

The event in Uzhhorod once again confirmed: effective dialogue between the state, civil society, and international partners is the key to building a resilient, safe, and just Ukraine.
Special thanks to the organizers of the event and the initiators of the platform for creating a space where solutions are born that are of strategic importance for the country’s future.
