The development of the international Business Woman community in Estonia is gaining momentum. After opening a representative office and the first meeting with Ukrainian leaders, the team focused on creating the most practical formats for supporting women in business.

Last Saturday, the European Parliament Information Office in Estonia hosted a seminar “Business in Estonia without mistakes: an entrepreneurial account, FIE or OÜ?”, which united Ukrainian entrepreneurs around the current issues of doing business in a new country.

According to Inna Gordienko, director of Business Woman magazine in Estonia, after the first meeting it became obvious that the next step is practical content that can be applied immediately:
“We clearly felt that our next event should be as useful as possible. That’s why we chose a topic that worries almost every woman — how to start a business in a new country without typical mistakes and with an understanding of real processes.”
The focus was on the issues faced by entrepreneurs at the start: the choice of the form of doing business, the tax system, financial planning and work with clients.

Special emphasis was placed on real experience. In particular, Volodymyr Palamar, an entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience, chairman of the board of the Association of Ukrainian Organizations in Estonia and advisor to the Ombudsman of Ukraine in Estonia, shared practical aspects of doing business:
“Estonia provides opportunities for entrepreneurship, but the result directly depends on consistency, understanding of numbers and the ability to work with the client.”
The topics of accounting, taxes and forms of doing business were of particular interest — they received the greatest response from the audience.

According to the results of the event, the participants noted the main value – the practicality of information and the opportunity to immediately apply it in their activities.
The team is already preparing the next events, taking into account the wishes of the participants. The focus is on even more applied knowledge, deeper topics and the development of the environment that supports Ukrainian business abroad.

This experience once again proves that Ukrainian women do not just adapt to new realities — they create strong professional communities, create new opportunities and confidently develop business in an international environment.
