The national team of Ukraine successfully concluded its performance at the FISU World University Championship Padel 2026, entering the top five best student teams in the world. This result became a significant achievement for Ukrainian padel and confirmed the high level of preparation of our athletes on the international arena.
The championship took place in Malaga (Spain) and brought together over 170 athletes from 20 countries. The competitions were marked by a high level of organization, and the competition among the participants was extremely intense.
Important support was provided to the Ukrainian team during the tournament by the Consul of Ukraine in Malaga, Volodymyr Lukyanov, and representatives of the Ukrainian community. In particular, active assistance in organization and coordination was provided by the Casa Ucrania de Andalucía Association.
Fifth place at the World Universiade became a meaningful result for the Ukrainian national team and yet another confirmation that Ukrainian student-athletes worthily represent the country at international competitions.
We congratulate the team on their successful performance and wish them new sporting achievements, brilliant victories, and even higher results on the world stage.
