Young entrepreneur Sandra Yaremko was born in Paraguay. Her world is the sun, the Paraná River, and the calm rhythm of Latin American life. Yet her inner strength has a different origin — Ukrainian.
This story began long before the laboratory was opened. It started with her great-grandfather and great-grandmother, who once left Ukraine and brought with them not only memories but also values: to work honestly, never give up, and build a future even in a place that is new and unknown. These principles were passed down through the Yaremko family. Sandra’s parents became part of this journey, supporting and helping to create a space for a new venture.
It is the story of a 27-year-old woman who grew up between two cultures and managed to combine them in her work. Ukrainian perseverance, depth, and resilience merged with the openness, warmth, and flexibility of Paraguay. It is in this combination that her approach is born: to work, to people, to life.

Here, another important meaning emerges — caring for health. The laboratory is not just about tests or services; it is about attention to the person, support, responsibility, and care, which has become essential in our times. Tests are a step toward early response when needed, a reflection of the 21st century’s development and opportunities that have become an integral part of our lives. The opening of the laboratory was not just a professional step. It was a step forward, a display of leadership and confidence.
Ukrainian roots are not only about the place of birth. They are about the inner strength that drives forward and inspires one to do something meaningful for others.

Sandra Yaremko is a force that creates the future. And this future is about growth, perseverance, business women, and turning dreams into reality.
We asked Sandra herself about this:
1. How did the idea of creating the laboratory come about?
The idea to create my own laboratory arose from the combination of calling and purpose. Even during my biochemistry studies, I always aimed to provide services that not only meet technical standards but also prioritize quality, accuracy, and a humane approach to patients.
Over time, this desire took on concrete form and became a project: a space where professional excellence and warmth toward patients go hand in hand. This laboratory embodies years of study, effort, and above all, a personal dream.
2. How challenging was the process of opening the laboratory, and how long did it take?
The opening process was not easy, as it required compliance with numerous technical, administrative, and regulatory requirements. From obtaining sanitary approval to selecting equipment and validating processes, every stage required planning, responsibility, and dedication. As for time, it took several months of continuous work. Despite all the challenges, the experience was extremely valuable and allowed me to grow both professionally and personally.
3. How does Paraguay’s geographical location affect the range of necessary laboratory tests?
Paraguay’s geographical location directly influences the epidemiological profile of the population, which determines the most in-demand laboratory tests. For example, there is higher demand for tests related to infectious and parasitic diseases, as well as metabolic disorders such as diabetes. Additionally, climatic and environmental factors may affect the prevalence of certain diseases, making it important to adapt the list of tests to the needs of the specific region. In this context, the laboratory must be ready to provide timely and reliable diagnostic services according to the local sanitary situation.
Caring for health means choosing life.
Pursuing your goals means creating the future.
