The annual KPMG Ukrainian Network event dedicated to Ukraine’s Independence Day took place in Toronto. The event was one of the first celebrations in Canada this year honouring the independence of Ukraine, its cultural heritage and the unity of the Ukrainian community.
KPMG Canada is one of Canada’s leading companies in audit, tax and business consulting. The company has operated in Canada for more than 150 years, supporting entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized businesses, non-profit organisations and community initiatives, contributing to their development and positive change in communities.
A special guest of the event was Roman Dubchak, Vice Chair of CIBC, one of Canada’s five largest banks. He shared his personal story, professional experience and reflections on leadership, the importance of social responsibility and community building.
The event brought together not only members of the Ukrainian community, but also Canadians who support Ukraine. The evening provided a space for meaningful conversations, new professional connections, stronger partnerships and meetings with friends.
At the invitation of KPMG’s partners, the event was attended by Nadiia Yashan, Director of the Business Woman Magazine Representation in Canada, President of Business Woman PRO Canada and Adviser to the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Representative in Canada.
In February 2026, a gala evening was held at KPMG with the company’s partnership support as part of the International Business Woman Forum. The event brought together politicians, prominent public figures, female leaders and business representatives.
