Ukraine and the EU Strengthen Economic Partnership at EU-Ukraine Business Summit 2026

On 22–23 April 2026, Brussels became the centre of strategic dialogue between Ukraine and the European Union, hosting the EU-Ukraine Business Summit 2026 — one of the most important international platforms for developing economic partnership, investment, and the future recovery of Ukraine.

The event brought together senior EU officials, representatives of the Ukrainian government, international business leaders, financial institutions, entrepreneurs, and industry decision-makers. Among the key participants and guests were representatives of the European Commission, the Mission of Ukraine to the EU, the European Parliament, the European Investment Bank, the EBRD, as well as governmental delegations from Ukraine and EU Member States.

We would like to once again highlight the strong and practical speech of Marta Kos, who emphasised unity around the protection and recovery of Ukraine. Marta Ciankowska also underlined the important role of preserving the culture and lived experience of the Ukrainian people. Among the public speakers, Brussels warmly welcomed Taras Kachka and other representatives of Ukrainian state institutions and business structures.

Special attention was given to the reconstruction of Ukraine, private capital mobilisation, energy development, infrastructure, innovation, agriculture, digital transformation, and the integration of Ukrainian business into the European market. One of the key themes of the summit was attracting private European investment into Ukraine’s transport sector and critical logistics infrastructure. The development of modern logistics, transport corridors, and resilient connectivity between Ukraine and the EU is a foundation for future economic growth and integration.

The summit also became a platform for showcasing Ukrainian innovation. Ukrainian drones P1-Sun and Vampire were presented, once again demonstrating the strength of Ukrainian technology, engineering talent, and modern production potential.

The event also served as an important preparatory stage for the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026.

Beyond the official programme, the EU-Ukraine Business Summit was an excellent space for networking and real cooperation opportunities. Entrepreneurs had the chance to meet potential partners, investors, corporations, support funds, and EU institutions directly. It is often in these side conversations that decisions are made which later become contracts, joint ventures, and access to new markets.

For Ukrainian business, participation in such events is more than visibility. It is an opportunity to be heard, present solutions, find allies, and secure a place in Europe’s economic future.

Supporting Ukraine is not only solidarity — it is a shared development strategy already being implemented today.
