On July 4–5, Prague became a true city of power and a meeting place for active and goal-oriented women. It is here that a new history of the Ukrainian women’s movement abroad is being shaped. The large-scale forum “A Woman Can Do Anything” was organized by the foreign representative office of the international magazine “Business Woman” in the Czech Republic in partnership with the “CHOICE” club. The event brought together representatives of the diplomatic corps, business, and the public sector on one platform.
The opening of the forum became a symbol of unity for the Ukrainian women’s community, which, even far from home, continues to develop, create joint projects, and support one another. The participation of representatives from the Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic and international partners lent special significance to the event.
Oleksandra Fadieieva, Director of the foreign representative office of “Business Woman” magazine in the Czech Republic, addressed all attendees with a welcoming speech, noting:
“Today, Ukrainian women demonstrate a unique resilience and the ability not just to integrate into a new environment, but to become leaders of change, open businesses, and make a loud statement about themselves on the international stage. Our forum is a space where everyone finds support, synergy, and real tools for growth.”
The first panel discussion was dedicated to social initiatives. Representatives of public organizations and opinion leaders analyzed in detail the current level of social security for Ukrainians in the Czech Republic and evaluated the effectiveness of existing integration programs. Special attention was paid to practical case studies of assistance and community interest advocacy.
A landmark event of the occasion was the presentation of the new issue of “Business Woman” magazine, featuring the Acting Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine, Lesia Karnaukh, on the cover.
The book “100 Records of Ukraine and the World”, published by the World Book of Records team, which highlights outstanding achievements of Ukrainians around the globe, was also presented during the forum. It is worth noting that this edition also recorded a achievement that was established directly in the Czech Republic.
Participants then moved on to a necessary discussion on “Human Rights,” where legal aspects of stay, protection, and safeguarding the rights of Ukrainian citizens in the Czech Republic were discussed.
The evening session of the first day focused entirely on the economic dimension. During the presentation of Ukrainian businesses in the Czech Republic, a deep exchange of experience took place regarding starting and running one’s own business in the country. The speakers placed a special emphasis on the specifics of developing women’s entrepreneurship in particular. The day concluded with the presentation of the “CHOICE” club, which opens new horizons for the consolidation of the Ukrainian community.
Practical Knowledge, Mental Health, and Personal Brand
The second day of the forum had a distinct applied nature and was fully dedicated to acquiring practical knowledge. The program took place in the format of intensive masterclasses and workshops.
Oleksandra Fadieieva, Director of “Business Woman” magazine in the Czech Republic, conducted an exclusive masterclass for the participants dedicated to the basics of investing and financial literacy.
A masterclass by well-known trainer Nataliia Makhno, “Public Speaking and Voice,” was dedicated to the issues of self-presentation and effective communications. Participants received effective techniques for overcoming stage fright and managing the voice as a key tool of influence.
Restoring internal resources was an important component. The art coaching “I am a Planet” by Olena Savenkova allowed attendees to balance their psycho-emotional state and find new points of support through creative practices.
In addition to the internal state, the modern businesswoman pays significant attention to external expressions and security. A professional stylist shared secrets of building a cohesive visual image for experts and entrepreneurs, while during a specialized digital security workshop, participants learned how to protect their personal and corporate data online.
The forum concluded with the presentation of a detailed calendar of future events from the organizers, solidifying the community’s intention to systematically develop the launched initiatives throughout the year.
