The Art of Taking the Hit: Tetiana Panasiuk’s Story of Betrayal, Strength, and Returning to Self

Sometimes, the greatest changes in life begin not with victories, but with moments that feel profoundly unfair. From pain. From disappointment. From situations where trust—in people, the world, and sometimes oneself—is shattered.

This is the exact journey of Tetiana Panasiuk, a woman who managed to turn professional betrayal into a catalyst for inner transformation and a return to the work that was her true calling.

Exclusively for Business Woman magazine, as part of the “Power of a Dream” project, Tetiana shared her personal story—a journey through professional burnout, the loss of stability, the power of self-honesty, and a new chapter of life where she finally chose herself.

“Since childhood, I’ve been used to finding meaning in difficult events. I believed that there is a way out of any situation,” she says.

In her professional life, Tetiana faced something that destroys more than just a career—it erodes self-belief. A colleague she trusted began misappropriating her ideas and projects. Her results became someone else’s achievements, while Tetiana herself was intentionally placed in situations where success was nearly impossible.

“I did the work—someone else got the growth,” she admits.

Along with this, her energy, motivation, and internal support system gradually vanished. It felt as though something far greater than professional opportunities had been taken—self-respect, self-worth, and faith in her own path.

However, at the moment of her greatest exhaustion, Tetiana asked herself an honest question: “What is this situation for?”

The answer changed everything.

She realized that she had long dreamed of returning to her true profession—psychology. Despite a successful career in HR, stability, and professional achievements, there was an internal need to work with people on a deeper level—through support, awareness, and internal change.

The pain became the catalyst for this decision.

“Despite the success and stability, I dared to choose myself,” Tetiana says.

Today, Tetiana Panasiuk provides consultations, creates original projects, hosts retreats, and develops growth programs for those seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and internal development.

For her, this is no longer just a job—it is a space created “from the soul,” where people can find support, honesty, and a new point of stability.

Her story is not about defeat. It is about the moment when life, through pain, returns a person to their true self.

Today, Tetiana is convinced: before falling into disappointment or blaming others for your difficulties, it is vital to ask yourself two honest questions:

1. “What better thing in my life is this event leading to?”

2. “What is the best thing I can do for myself right now?”

Sometimes, these answers mark the beginning of a whole new life.

Tetiana Panasiuk’s story is a reminder that a woman’s strength isn’t in never falling. Real strength lies in the ability to rise, preserve oneself, and transform personal experience into support for others.

Because the power of a dream is not about an ideal life.

The power of a dream is the courage to choose yourself.
