On March 3, 2026, the юбilee, tenth ceremony of the international Businesswoman & Businessman 2025 Award took place in Kyiv, recognizing leaders who are shaping a new standard of Ukrainian business—responsible, strategic, and socially oriented.

Among the nominees is Tetiana Chubak, Development Director of the Podolyany Shopping and Entertainment Center (Ternopil) and President of the Podolyany Charitable Foundation. She was honored in the “Socially Responsible Business” category. This recognition highlights her consistent efforts in transforming the shopping center into a powerful social and cultural hub for the region.
For over 15 years, Tetiana Chubak has been shaping the strategic development of Podolyany—one of the largest complexes in Ternopil. Since its opening in 2007, it has evolved from a commercial facility into a space for interaction, support, and community. Under her leadership, the center continues to expand and modernize (including the development of its second phase) while redefining the role of business as an active participant in societal processes.

A key element of this transformation is social responsibility, fully integrated into the development strategy. Since 2008, Tetiana has led the Podolyany Charitable Foundation, which implements systematic initiatives to support military personnel, their families, and internally displaced persons. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, more than 500 charitable and volunteer initiatives have been carried out at the complex, and over 5,000 children of defenders and IDPs have received opportunities for free leisure and psychological recovery.
Tetiana Chubak places special emphasis on creating an inclusive environment. Podolyany systematically implements barrier-free solutions—from infrastructure improvements to regular inclusive events such as film screenings, sports activities, and social initiatives for youth with disabilities. This approach creates a space open to everyone, regardless of physical abilities or social status.

An important area of activity is the development of cultural projects that strengthen Ukrainian identity and unite the community. Among them are “Knygofest Podolyany,” which brings together authors, publishers, and readers; the “Bookshelf of Kindness,” aimed at supporting children from vulnerable groups; and the “Vertep Parade,” a large-scale event that preserves traditions while also serving a charitable mission—helping provide Ukrainian soldiers with essential equipment.
Tetiana Chubak’s professional style is built on consistency, discipline, and long-term vision. In her work, she consistently emphasizes that social responsibility is not a situational initiative but a fundamental element of business strategy. This approach makes it possible to combine effective management with a real impact on society.
Her nomination in the “Socially Responsible Business” category underscores the importance of a new role for business in Ukraine—as a force that not only creates economic value but also strengthens communities, supports people, and preserves cultural identity in the most challenging times.
