State–Business Dialogue: Business Woman Club Joins Discussion on Tax Challenges

A working meeting took place in Kyiv with the participation of Acting Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Lesia Karnaukh, representatives of civil society institutions, and the business community. Members of Business Woman Club also joined the discussion.

The meeting became an important platform for open dialogue between the state and business on current challenges in tax administration, as well as for identifying effective and systemic solutions.

During the event, Lesia Karnaukh outlined the key priorities of the State Tax Service and presented a vision for further cooperation with the business sector. At the same time, representatives of the World Bank — Jan Loeprick and Gregory Kisunko — introduced the objectives of the Global Taxpayer Survey currently being conducted in Ukraine.

Participants identified the most pressing issues affecting the business community and discussed practical ways to address them — from administrative procedures to broader strategic approaches in tax policy.

Particular attention was given to the international dimension of Ukrainian business activity. During the discussion, President of Business Woman Club Ania Krysiuk raised an important question to the Head of the State Tax Service regarding double taxation for Ukrainians operating abroad. This issue is critically important for internationally oriented entrepreneurs and requires a comprehensive regulatory approach at the state level.

Business Woman Club continues to actively contribute to building a constructive dialogue between business and government institutions, representing the interests of women entrepreneurs and supporting the development of a transparent and efficient business environment in Ukraine.
