On June 17, a regular meeting of the Council for Entrepreneurship Support took place, serving as a platform for an open dialogue between the state and the business community regarding further steps for the development of the Ukrainian economy under wartime conditions.
Iryna Mudra announced the outcomes of the meeting on her official Facebook page.
The participants focused on issues of supporting entrepreneurs, developing manufacturing, implementing energy projects, and creating more favorable conditions for the operation of Ukrainian businesses.
Among the key decisions were expanding opportunities for preferential lending for energy projects, improving grid connection procedures, and updating the rules of the electricity market. These changes are expected to help enterprises increase their energy resilience and plan their operations more efficiently.
A separate discussion block was dedicated to the development of the defense industry. Participants emphasized the importance of implementing modern technologies and supporting innovative solutions that will contribute to strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities and developing high-tech manufacturing.
The meeting also addressed the issues of financing enterprises in frontline regions, supporting Ukrainian manufacturers, and removing barriers that hinder the development of specific economic sectors. Some of the problematic issues have already been taken into account for further processing.
Participants noted that regular communication between the government and the business community allows for a quicker response to challenges, finding practical solutions, and shaping conditions for the stable development of entrepreneurship even during the most difficult periods.
Today, Ukrainian business remains one of the key pillars of the country’s economy. Therefore, supporting entrepreneurship, developing innovations, and creating new opportunities for manufacturers are essential components of Ukraine’s future economic recovery.
