The official presentation of the book “Pixel Life” by author Kristina Yevtushenko—a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, public figure, and mother—took place in Budapest.
The event was initiated by a public figure and the Director of Business Woman Hungary, who organized the occasion to support Ukrainian women and war veterans, and to promote contemporary Ukrainian literature and culture abroad.
The event was held with the support of the State Self-Government of Ukrainians of Hungary and the Center for Culture and Documentation of Ukrainians in Hungary.

The presentation took place in a sincere and emotional atmosphere. It was especially valuable that concerned Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine in Hungary united around the event. Without formal scripts or pre-prepared speeches, participants had the opportunity to hear a true story of life, struggle, loss, faith, and the resilience of a Ukrainian woman who walked the path of war.
During the event, the Director of Business Woman Hungary solemnly presented Kristina Yevtushenko with an Acknowledgement for her significant contribution to the promotion of Ukraine and Ukrainian culture, and for preserving national identity during wartime.
A separate part of the program included the presentation of an official commemorative award from the international environmental project Greening of the Planet. The award is dedicated to Stanislav Yevtushenko—the author’s father and a war hero. As part of the global initiative to plant 10 million trees, a Sakura tree was planted in Budapest as a Tree of Memory in his honor. This event became a symbol of gratitude, remembrance, and the continuation of life.
An important result of the presentation was the further international promotion of the book. The publication was invited to participate in the II International Festival of Ukrainian Books and Culture. The book was presented by Kristina Hiresh, as the author was unable to be present in person.
Such cultural initiatives are of particular importance as they allow the world to hear the truth about Ukraine, its struggle for freedom, and the human stories behind every page of modern Ukrainian literature.

Special thanks are extended to all partners, volunteers, and representatives of the Ukrainian community who joined in organizing the event, as well as to Ms. Maryna Kuzmenko and her family for their assistance, Ms. Lilianna Grexa for her support and care, and Business Woman Ukraine publishing house and Anna Krysiuk for facilitating international cooperation and the development of women’s initiatives.
The next stage of the international cultural mission will be the presentation of the book in Milan. This is a continuation of the work to spread the Ukrainian voice in the world through cultural diplomacy, international partnership, and the activities of women’s public organizations.
“We must do everything possible to ensure that Ukrainian voices are heard in the world. It is through personal stories, books, and cultural projects that the world gains a deeper understanding of the price of Ukraine’s struggle for freedom,” noted the Director of Business Woman Hungary.
