The 39th pre-Easter humanitarian mission to the Kherson region, organized by the International Headquarters for Aid to Ukrainians (IHU), became yet another testament to the unity, support, and strength of our society.
Among the participants were Business Woman Club Council member and Head of the NGO “MOZHU,” Alina Skomorokhova, together with her husband Kostiantyn Skomorokhov, with the participation of Business Woman Club mentor and Member of the Parliament of Ukraine, Serhii Kozyr.
The humanitarian mission was implemented in cooperation with Violeta Labaziuk — a member of the Business Woman Club and Head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Council — the Violeta Labaziuk Family Charitable Foundation “We Are Nearby,” and Fundacja Team Kraków.
As part of the mission, chaplain Vitalii Pievniev consecrated Easter breads (paskas) and humanitarian aid, and blessed Ukrainian defenders. The consecrated paskas and aid were delivered to servicemen and servicewomen, employees of the State Emergency Service, the National Police, medical institutions, as well as residents of affected communities in the Kherson region.
In total, the mission delivered: generators of various capacities — 7 units, consecrated paskas — 1,000 units, gift packages — 700 units, fruits — 20 boxes, food supplies — 10 packages, medical supplies, medicines, and dressings — 25 boxes, fire extinguishers — 10 units.
Humanitarian aid was also delivered to hospitals and stabilization points, including medical supplies, medicines, and dressings. Additionally, within the framework of cooperation between the NGO “MOZHU” and NAU Network Associazioni per Ucraina, with the support of donations from Italian communities and organizations, generators were purchased and delivered to communities in the Kherson region.
The mission concluded with the symbolic planting of a Tree of Peace — a sakura — as part of the international environmental project Greening of the Planet, symbolizing resilience, unity, and faith in Victory.
