Participants of the 38th humanitarian mission of the International Headquarters for Assistance to Ukrainians visited the children’s educational space “Postup,” where they communicated with the children, learned about their activities, and donated intellectual development games.
Participants, mentors, and partners of the Business Woman Club joined the visit and the delivery of aid, including Hanna Krysiuk, Boryanka Simichevych, Yuliia Slaiman, Mariia Chorna, club mentor Andriia Dzhuranovych, as well as representatives of the Kropyvnytskyi Regional Center for Children and Youth Creativity.
The visit took place with the participation of the Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, and the Head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Yaroslav Shanko, who welcomed the delegation.
After that, the mission participants visited the underground department of the Kherson City Perinatal Center, where they ознакомилися with the organization of the medical process under wartime conditions.
During the visit to the perinatal center, Yaroslav Shanko presented the work of the department, spoke about the capabilities of the institution, and outlined directions for further cooperation.
The participants of the mission communicated with medical staff and patients. In particular, they met a young mother who had recently given birth to a healthy baby girl.
It is important that all services for children—both in the “Postup” space and in the perinatal center—are provided free of charge.
Mission participants, mentors, partners, and members of the Business Woman Club were deeply impressed by the meeting with the children, as well as by the conditions in which medical workers and educators currently work and families with children live. This evokes sincere respect and gratitude to everyone who ensures the operation of these institutions.
During the visit, gratitude was expressed for the donated educational games and materials for children. This initiative was supported by the Business Woman Club, including Hanna Krysiuk, Boryanka Simichevych, Yuliia Slaiman, Alina Skomorokhova, Mariia Chorna, the NGO “Kropyvnytskyi Regional Women’s Initiative,” the Kropyvnytskyi Regional Center for Children and Youth Creativity, the NGO “MOZHU,” the NGO “World Ukrainian Community,” representatives of the Charitable Foundation “Sky of Ukraine” (Vladyslav Seniuta), Nord Haus UA (Oksana Shoorlemmer), and Gekkon (Artem Trufanov).
The Head of the International Headquarters for Assistance to Ukrainians, Hanna Krysiuk, expressed gratitude to the Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, and the Head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Yaroslav Shanko, for their assistance in organizing the visit.
“We are sincerely grateful for the openness and cooperation. The conditions in which medical workers, educators, and children live today inspire deep respect. Together with our partners, we are already planning the next mission to expand support, help improve facilities, and strengthen the areas that are critically important today,” she noted.
The mission participants confirmed their readiness to return with new initiatives and continue systematic support for institutions and communities in the Kherson region.
