Nino Katamadze Visited the Ukrainian Center in Yerevan: Solidarity and Joint Projects

In early May, Georgian singer Nino Katamadze visited Yerevan on tour.

She performed a concert dedicated to International Jazz Day, featuring visual stage accompaniments that carried a message of support for Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Center (NGO “Ukrainians of Armenia”), which works with the community and provides assistance to Ukrainians in Yerevan, reached out with a proposal to meet. Despite her tight touring schedule, Nino Katamadze immediately found time to visit the center.

During the meeting, representatives of the center spoke about their activities, current initiatives, and the life of the Ukrainian community in Yerevan. Nino Katamadze shared her experience with charitable projects, her trips to Ukraine, and her efforts to support Ukrainians abroad. They also touched upon her participation in the show X Factor.

Symbolic gifts were presented, and the conversation took place in a warm and open atmosphere.

The parties reached an agreement on future cooperation, specifically regarding a potential visit to a center for Ukrainian children in Georgia, which is supported by Nino Katamadze’s charitable foundation.

Olena Shevchuk, head of the Ukrainian Center in Yerevan, emphasized the importance of the meeting and thanked the singer for her attention to the Ukrainian community and for making time to connect despite her busy schedule. The center noted that such meetings create a vital space for mutual support and future collaboration.
