On the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Slovenia, an official diplomatic reception was held in Kyiv, organized by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia to Ukraine, Mateja Prevolšek. This was reported by the Business Woman Club.
The event brought together representatives of the diplomatic corps, state authorities, international organizations, business, and the public sector around shared values of international partnership, mutual support, and the development of interstate cooperation.



The celebrations began with a minute of silence to honor the memory of the fallen, followed by the performance of the national anthems of Ukraine and the Republic of Slovenia.

During the official part of the event, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia to Ukraine, Mateja Prevolšek, addressed the attendees, emphasizing the importance of further strengthening Ukrainian-Slovenian relations and supporting Ukraine in the face of current challenges.
Among the guests of honor were the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Yevhen Perebyinis, and the Head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Tyurin, who presented online the results of joint Ukrainian-Slovenian projects implemented in the region.




The reception was also attended by Hanna Krysiuk, President of the Business Woman Club and owner of the Business Woman magazine; Elena Leticia Teresa Mikusinski, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Argentine Republic to Ukraine; Andon Sapundži, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Serbia to Ukraine; Andrija Đuranović, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Montenegro to Ukraine and mentor of the Business Woman Club; as well as representatives from the diplomatic missions of Azerbaijan and Egypt.
On behalf of the international business community Business Woman Club, Hanna Krysiuk congratulated Ambassador Mateja Prevolšek on the National Day of the Republic of Slovenia and expressed gratitude for supporting Ukraine, developing bilateral partnerships, and actively cooperating with the international community of Ukrainian women leaders.



As a sign of respect and gratitude, the Ambassador was presented with white hydrangeas—a symbol of sincerity, harmony, and friendship between nations.
Such diplomatic events not only strengthen international dialogue but also create new opportunities for developing cooperation between countries, businesses, and civil society, which is particularly important for Ukraine under current challenges.
