Nadiia Yashan — Director of the Business Woman magazine representative office in Canada, President of Business Woman PRO Canada, and Advisor to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights — has recently received federal-level recognition in Canada for her contribution to community development and initiatives.
The award was presented by Member of the Canadian Parliament Yvan Baker as part of an annual initiative aimed at honoring individuals who make a significant contribution to the development of society. This event brings together representatives of various nationalities and professions who, through their work, create real change within Canadian communities.

This recognition serves as a testament to Nadiia Yashan’s many years of dedicated work focused on supporting entrepreneurship, advancing women’s leadership, developing educational and social initiatives, and uniting communities.
Under her leadership, Business Woman PRO Canada has evolved into a powerful platform that fosters business development, professional networking, and new opportunities for women in Canada. At the same time, her work extends beyond the business environment to broader social initiatives that have a tangible impact on community development across the country.
“For me, this is not just an award, but a recognition of the journey we are taking together with our team and partners,” Nadiia Yashan notes.
She also emphasizes the importance of the fact that in Canada, individuals who contribute to the development of society are recognized at the state level regardless of their background, bringing together diverse cultures around shared values.

Nadiia also expresses special gratitude to her Business Woman PRO Canada team, emphasizing that this achievement is the result of collective work, trust, and continuous growth.
This recognition once again highlights the importance of an active civic position, leadership, and the creation of initiatives that have a real impact on society.
