She confidently balances between radio broadcasts, film sets, and recording new tracks, destroying the stereotype that you cannot manage everything at once. TANYA LI is a Ukrainian artist, influencer, and host who is not afraid to speak about reality without embellishments. Instead of a perfect picture on social media, she chooses sincerity, and instead of cliché advice—her own life experience.
Exclusively for the readers of the International Magazine Business Woman, we talked with Tanya about how to find that very balance between creativity and media presence, why modern Ukrainian women have become the foundation for the whole country, and what YouTube project we should look forward to very soon.
How do you manage to combine music, hosting, and blogging?
For a Ukrainian woman, there is absolutely nothing impossible! Of course, I build no illusions that one can be 100% effective in every sphere at the exact same time. However, every day I do everything possible to find that very balance and manage as much as I can. Ultimately, music, working in front of the camera or behind the scenes, and blogging are all stories about creativity and communication with people. And this inspires me to give my absolute all.
Which creative project became the most significant for you?
Each project is special to me in its own way. I am a perfectionist, so I always have a hyper-responsible approach to work and put my soul into everything I do. But if I had to single out the one that gave me personally colossal experience, and became truly important and useful for the audience—it is the project “I WANT TO BE A MOM” on Lux FM.
We invited the best experts and doctors to make the preparation for motherhood as comfortable, clear, and safe as possible. And the best indicator of the value of this work is that even a year after the finale, mothers still write to me asking for a continuation, and doctors ask how to join our team.
What new ideas or formats do you want to implement in the near future?
We are setting a course for conscious femininity, but strictly through the prism of humor and real-life experience. It will be a cool YouTube project where every woman will be able to have a good laugh from the heart and relax. Zero judgment and maximum understanding—that is the main rule. It will be incredible, believe me!
What does it mean to you to be a modern woman who inspires others by her own example?
To remain strong even when, in reality, you just want to be weak. Modern Ukrainian women are an unbreakable foundation on which everything rests today. Therefore, I really want us, girls, to support each other as much as possible. Because only in unity and sincere mutual help does a woman truly blossom. And seeing this blossoming is the greatest inspiration.
