Innovations in the “MEDIOL” Medical Center: How to Restore Spine and Joint Health Without Surgery

The “MEDIOL” Medical Center commenced its operations in 2016. Its owner and chief physician, Fedir Volodymyrovych Oliinyk — an orthopedic-traumatologist and vertebrologist — has been working for over 15 years using his own patented method of non-surgical spine and joint treatment, which he patented back in 2010.

Each year of work brought new techniques that Fedir Volodymyrovych mastered alongside the center’s team of specialists, making it possible to refine and hone the “MEDIOL” Method for non-surgical treatment and restoration of the spine and joints in practice.

The “MEDIOL” Method represents integrative approaches, namely the combination of generally accepted methods of diagnosis and treatment — in our case, orthopedics-traumatology and neurology — with modern global innovative methods.

The “MEDIOL” Method includes: an author’s patented technique for non-surgical spine and joint treatment aimed at normalizing spinal biomechanics, which has demonstrated 80% effectiveness in practice over 15 years; vertebrology; applied kinesiology; osteopathy (soft manual techniques); visceral and craniosacral therapy; ozone therapy; acupuncture; various types of therapeutic massage; selection of chondroprotectors, biostimulators, and medicinal herbs; lifestyle and nutrition recommendations; and individual sessions in rehabilitation halls, including pilates, yoga, and stretching techniques, as well as exercises on specialized training equipment.

When establishing a diagnosis, we analyze various studies — X-rays, MRI, CT, and lab tests. Alongside this, during diagnostics, we apply the manual muscle test (MMT) — an effective tool of applied kinesiology that allows us to identify the root cause of the disease. In doing so, we strive to ensure a holistic approach to patient health and healing.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, we have seen from our own experience that the rehabilitation and treatment methods previously used are either ineffective or of low efficiency.

In today’s realities:

  1. In patients affected by the war — military personnel and civilians — health problems are based on three levels: physical, emotional, and biochemical. The problem must be addressed at all levels.
  2. Diagnostics must be carried out in the direction of searching for the root cause, and based on this, a treatment and rehabilitation plan must be drawn up — rather than focusing solely on symptoms.
  3. It is necessary to work with the patient using various techniques, which in combination will yield a better effect.
  4. A special and important place must be occupied by children. The future of the nation — the future of our country — depends on how our children come out after the war.

Leading orthopedic traumatologist, vertebrologist, applied kinesiologist, doctor of the highest category – founder of the Mediol Clinic, member of the “Association of Vertebrologists of Ukraine” and the “Ukrainian Association of Applied Kinesiology”

Advantages of the MEDIOL Method:

  1. High efficiency — more than 80% of patients with spine and joint diseases recover without surgery.
  2. The use of the manual muscle test — a tool of applied kinesiology on par with official diagnostic methods.
  3. A comprehensive approach to treatment, consisting of an effective combination of techniques for restoration at the physical, psycho-emotional, and biochemical levels.
  4. Treatment and rehabilitation allow for the effective recovery of patients — both civilians and military personnel — in the shortest possible timeframe.

The MEDIOL Method is used:

  1. For spinal diseases (kyphosis, kyphoscoliosis, instability of the cervical and lumbar spine with uncomplicated intervertebral hernias and protrusions).
  2. For joint diseases associated with damage to the osteoligamentous apparatus, menisci, and deforming arthrosis.
  3. For children’s posture disorders, valgus foot deformities, myalgia, tunnel syndromes, etc.
  4. During the recovery period after surgical interventions on the spine and joints, and abdominal surgeries.
  5. For the restoration of the wounded with partial or complete loss of limb functions.
  6. For the restoration, during rehabilitation, of movement and walking functions after surgical interventions on the limbs.
  7. For neurological disorders associated with partial damage to a nerve or plexuses with partial loss of limb functions.
  8. In case of deterioration of the psycho-emotional state, resulting in impaired coordination of movements, tremors, depression, somatoform disorders, and panic attacks.
  9. In the diagnosis and treatment of autonomic dysfunctions of internal organs.

The dissemination of the MEDIOL Method among specialists engaged in military rehabilitation will increase rehabilitation efficiency tenfold and significantly reduce the recovery period. We are ready to teach our Method to specialists involved in the rehabilitation and recovery of military personnel and everyone affected by the war, for which we have founded our own MEDIOL School. After all, the dissemination of the MEDIOL Method will increase rehabilitation efficiency tenfold and significantly reduce the recovery period.
