Heorhii and Olha Chervienkov — nominees of the Businesswoman & Businessman 2025 award in the “Socially Responsible Business” category

On March 3, 2026, the anniversary tenth ceremony of the international Businesswoman & Businessman 2025 award took place in Kyiv, recognizing the achievements of women and men in the fields of entrepreneurship, leadership, management, and social responsibility.

Among the nominees of the award are the spouses Heorhii Chervienkov and Olha Chervienkova, founders of the Posad-Pokrovske canning factory in the Kherson region. They were recognized for their resilience, the restoration of production after de-occupation, and large-scale support for the local community during the most difficult period for the region.

After the liberation of the Kherson region, the couple returned to the almost completely destroyed enterprise in Posad-Pokrovske and began its reconstruction practically “screw by screw”. Despite the large-scale destruction, loss of equipment, and multi-million losses, they not only restored part of the production but also preserved the team, jobs, and the very idea of developing Ukrainian production on their native land.

Olha Chervienkova became an important part of the enterprise’s recovery process and humanitarian support for the community. Together with Heorhii, they organized assistance for local residents, provided people with water and hot meals, and supported the military, workers, and villagers who survived the hostilities. The factory also became a temporary shelter for some of the employees whose homes were destroyed by the war.

Today, the enterprise is gradually restoring the production of natural products, and the “Demianovych” brand remains a symbol of resilience, labor, and dedication to the Kherson region. The Chervienkov spouses refused to relocate the business to other regions of Ukraine, making the decision to stay and revive their native village and enterprise precisely in the de-occupied territory.

The nomination of Heorhii and Olha Chervienkov in the Businesswoman & Businessman 2025 award emphasizes the strength of family business, social responsibility, and the example of Ukrainian entrepreneurs who, even during the war, continue to work, support people, and restore the future of Ukraine.
