The business visit of the Ukrainian Business Woman Club delegation to China continued with an intensive program in Qingdao and Pingdu. Delegation members visited enterprises across various industries — from textile and tire manufacturing to packaging, food processing, agritech, environmental solutions, and the tea industry.
The program brought together an introduction to the production capacities of Chinese companies, presentations of modern technologies, B2B negotiations, and meetings with representatives of the local women’s business community.

Introduction to Chinese Tea Culture
One of the visit’s locations was Qingdao Laokuang Zunpu Tea Industry Co., Ltd., where the Ukrainian delegation learned about the key stages of Chinese tea production.

The guests were welcomed by Zhong Renyumei, a member of the Association and General Manager of Qingdao Laokuang Zunpu Tea Industry Co., Ltd. She presented the specifics of production and spoke about the post-harvest preparation of tea leaves.
Participants observed the processing and drying of leaves, preparation for packaging, and automated production processes. In particular, tea is automatically packed into pouches using specialized equipment, after which workers carry out the final packaging.
Company representatives also showcased one of the most premium varieties of traditional Chinese tea and detailed the nuances of its production.

A traditional tea ceremony became a distinct highlight of the visit. The guests were shown tea brewing techniques and the process of whisking the tea froth to create traditional patterns.
The visit offered an opportunity not only to see modern manufacturing firsthand, but also to connect closely with the culture, traditions, and approaches shaping the Chinese tea industry.
A follow-up visit to the tea plantation is scheduled for November. Participants of the upcoming trip will be able to directly explore tea production and its traditions, as well as take part in a full tea ceremony.

From Packaging Equipment to Agricultural Technology
A separate segment of the business program took place in Pingdu, where the Ukrainian delegation visited several Chinese enterprises and held a series of B2B meetings.
The first stop was Qingdao Yilong Packaging Machinery Co., Ltd., which specializes in finished-goods packaging systems and automated equipment for manufacturing processes.
Next was Qingdao Haikejia Intelligent Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. The delegation was introduced to intelligent machinery for the food processing industry, specifically grain processing technologies and the production of staple food products.

Solutions for livestock and poultry farming were presented by Qingdao Jizhuwu Livestock Equipment Co., Ltd. The enterprise manufactures automated equipment for animal housing, feeding, and microclimate control.
Another focus was environmental and agro-industrial engineering. During the visit to Dingxin Yangguang Environmental Technology Co., Ltd., participants explored technological solutions for refrigeration and freezing facilities, resource recycling, and deep processing of agricultural products.
Earlier in Qingdao, the delegation also toured enterprises in the textile, tire, and stone-processing sectors. Overall, the program provided a comprehensive overview of Chinese manufacturing and helped identify areas of interest for Ukrainian businesses.

Dialogue with the Pingdu Women’s Business Community
A meeting with representatives of Pingdu’s women’s business community formed an essential part of the itinerary. The delegation was hosted by Li Aiqin, Party Secretary and President of the Pingdu Municipal Women’s Federation.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in business education, investment projects, culture, cinema, and educational initiatives.
Chinese partners expressed interest in developing direct contacts with Ukrainian women entrepreneurs. Potential next steps include a visit by representatives from Pingdu to Ukraine to continue the dialogue and develop joint projects.
Such meetings go beyond a routine exchange of contacts.
They create an open space for direct communication between entrepreneurs, knowledge sharing, and the development of practical cooperation models.
From Introductions to Concrete Partnerships
The Ukrainian delegation’s business program in Qingdao and Pingdu combined cultural dialogue, an overview of production capabilities, and the search for new business contacts.
Throughout the meetings, participants discussed opportunities for cooperation, entering new markets, and identifying Ukrainian and European partners. At the same time, the Chinese side demonstrated strong interest in continued engagement with Ukrainian business.
The next phase will focus on translating the established connections into concrete agreements, joint projects, and new opportunities for both Ukrainian and Chinese entrepreneurs.

We extend our gratitude to Qingdao Laokuang Zunpu Tea Industry for their hospitality, the tour of their production facilities, and the introduction to the traditions of Chinese tea culture.
We also express our sincere appreciation to the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Ukraine, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the PRC Ma Shengkun, and the Qingdao Women Entrepreneurs Association for organizing the visits, coordinating the meetings, and fostering the development of Ukrainian-Chinese business cooperation.
