English and French without barriers are no longer just a dream, but a real tool for new opportunities, career growth, and a life without limitations. Today, language proficiency is not merely a skill — it is a strategic advantage that opens doors to the world.
This is exactly the philosophy embraced by educator and founder of her own educational practice, Vitalina Koshets, who helps her students not just learn a language, but start living it with confidence. Her approach combines modern methodologies, international experience, and a deep understanding of each student’s needs — from the very first steps to fluent communication.
In an interview with Business Woman, she shares how to build an effective learning process without fear, why traditional approaches no longer work, and how to start speaking a foreign language confidently — regardless of age or starting level.

Tell us about yourself: What education and professional training do you have, what is your experience in teaching English and French, and what has shaped you as an expert in this field?
I obtained a higher pedagogical education at the M. P. Dragomanov National Pedagogical University in Kyiv and hold qualifications as a teacher of English and French.
What shaped me as an expert above all is practical experience. I have been teaching for over seven years, starting during my university studies with private offline lessons for children.
After moving to Europe, I fully transitioned my work to an online format, which allowed me to teach students from different countries and adapt my methodology to diverse needs. During this time, I have developed and successfully delivered numerous group, pair, and individual learning programs, combining classical teaching principles with modern communicative approaches.
Previously, I worked in educational institutions, and today I run my own private practice, continuously improving my methods and helping students achieve real results in learning English and French. I work not only with students from Ukraine but also from various parts of the world — including the United States, Canada, and Latin America — while keeping my prices accessible to a broad audience.
What results do your students achieve, and how long does it take for them to start speaking confidently?
My students achieve diverse and often impressive results. Among my cases are students who started from scratch and later gained better career opportunities, secured desired positions, enrolled in foreign universities, and successfully passed international language exams.
I work both with general language improvement and with specific goals: exam preparation, relocation, studying abroad, or professional development in another country. That is why the results always have practical application.
As for developing confident speaking skills, this is an individual process that depends on prior experience, lesson consistency, and personal learning style. I adapt flexibly to each student’s pace: for some, a brief explanation is enough, while others need more time for deeper understanding and mastery of the material.
What makes your teaching methodology unique? Why do your students progress faster than with traditional learning approaches?
The uniqueness of my methodology lies in combining a communicative approach, clear lesson structure, and full individualization for each student.
My work is based on the English as a Second Language (ESL) methodology, which allows students to practice the language from the very first lessons. Approximately 80% of each lesson is dedicated to speaking practice, enabling students to overcome the language barrier quickly.
Unlike the traditional school approach, which focuses mainly on grammar and theory, my method emphasizes real-life language use. Students immediately apply grammatical structures in practice, which significantly accelerates their progress.
Thanks to the online format, my courses are accessible to students worldwide, allowing me to work with an international audience and tailor lessons to different needs.
What challenges do students most often face when learning English and French, and how do you help them overcome the language barrier?
Most students come with fears of speaking, lack of confidence, and a strong language barrier — even if they have studied the language for many years at school or on their own. Very often, students know the rules but cannot apply them in real communication.
Another major obstacle is the fear of making mistakes, which blocks spontaneous speech.

I create a safe and supportive environment where mistakes are viewed as a natural part of the learning process, and I organize intensive speaking practice. These challenges are common among students from different countries — from Ukraine to North and Latin America — and my experience with an international audience allows me to effectively adapt my methodology to different cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
How did the idea of collaborating with your husband on teaching French originate?
The idea developed naturally, as my husband is a native French speaker and is also highly proficient in English.
We organize speaking clubs where students practice authentic French not only with me but also with a native speaker. I am responsible for structured explanations of grammar and language logic in Ukrainian, while my husband complements this with live communication, accurate pronunciation, and authentic expressions.
We have also created a mini-course, “French from Scratch,” where I explain grammar in Ukrainian and my husband demonstrates how the rules function in real-life speech. Thanks to the online format, these courses and clubs are available to students from anywhere in the world, combining structure with practice and significantly accelerating the development of speaking skills.
