The Ukrainian-Italian charitable project Il Calendario Solidale “Ukrainian Women in Italy” demonstrates how creative initiatives can transform into real, tangible support.
Funds raised within the project were donated to the Kharkiv-based foundation “Talan.YA” and directed toward the creation of a safe underground sports space for children. This space, built in wartime conditions, allows children to stay physically active, play, and regain a sense of normal childhood.
The project was initiated by the association C.R.A.S.A. APS, founded by Ukrainian women currently living in Italy. Its mission goes beyond fundraising — it also promotes women’s solidarity, creative expression, and strengthens the Ukrainian community abroad.

The calendar features Ukrainian women living and working in Italy — entrepreneurs, artists, volunteers, translators, managers, and professional models. Each of them represents a month and shares a personal story of strength, adaptation, and growth.
The photoshoots were carried out on a volunteer basis by Ukrainian photographers, along with a team of makeup artists and stylists working in Italy. The looks were complemented by dresses from the Ukrainian brand Anna Marchuk.
This project has become an example of how a cultural initiative can evolve into a meaningful tool for impact. It is a story of a community that not only unites around an idea but also creates real change where it is most needed.
