This weekend, a warm and inspiring meeting of Ukrainian women took place in the city of London, Ontario, during which a fresh issue of the international magazine Business Woman, as well as the Book of World Records, were presented.
The meeting was organized by Nadiia Yashan — Director of Business Woman magazine in Canada and President of Business Woman PRO Canada. During the event, she introduced the participants to the history of the magazine, spoke about the creation of the Business Woman representative office in Canada, which has been successfully operating for six years, and discussed the publication’s international activities, which today unite women leaders, entrepreneurs, and public figures in many countries around the world.
Participants of the event also learned more about the activities of Business Woman PRO Canada — an organization that has been supporting women in business for five years, hosting forums, conferences, educational programs, and networking events across Canada. Following the successful organization of forums in Toronto, the team continues to connect with active women in other cities of the province, seeking new partners, volunteers, and like-minded individuals to implement future projects.
The meeting brought together both business owners and women who are just considering the possibility of starting their own businesses. In a relaxed atmosphere, the participants discussed entrepreneurship, personal brand development, opportunities for cooperation, and support for female leadership.
A special flavor was added to the event by the Ukrainian cafe Hutsul Coffee Space. This is not just a cozy place to enjoy freshly brewed coffee. It also popularizes Ukrainian culture and history by telling visitors about outstanding Ukrainians who influenced world culture and science. On the walls of the cafe, one can see information about Solomiya Krushelnytska, Lesya Ukrainka, Olena Pchilka, Ivan Franko, Taras Shevchenko, and other prominent Ukrainians.
The cafe’s particular pride is its coffee. The cafe owners, Yulia and her husband, are developing a family business, offering visitors high-quality coffee from different parts of the world. The beans undergo professional roasting, which allows the taste and aroma of each variety to be fully revealed. In addition to coffee drinks, guests can purchase coffee beans or ground coffee for home brewing.
The Business Woman PRO Canada team expresses its sincere gratitude to Yulia and her family for the warm welcome, hospitality, and support of the Ukrainian community.
The meeting in London once again confirmed that Ukrainian women in Canada strive for development, cooperation, and the creation of strong professional communities. And this means that many new projects, acquaintances, and opportunities lie ahead.
Perhaps London will become the next city to host one of our major events.
