Business Woman Club Joins the Launch of the Second Year of the BLOOM Program to Support Female Entrepreneurship and SMEs

The OSHCHADBUSINESS hub hosted the presentation of the second year of the BLOOM program—a large-scale international initiative aimed at supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), developing female entrepreneurship, and driving Ukraine’s economic recovery. This was reported by the Business Woman Club.

The event brought together representatives of international organizations, the financial sector, experts, and female entrepreneurs to discuss current opportunities for Ukrainian business development amidst modern challenges.

The event was opened by Olesia Volska-Zaluska, Director of the FCDO BLOOM Consortium at Mercy Corps Ukraine, who presented the program’s key achievements and outlined future areas of support for entrepreneurs in Ukraine.

During the panel discussions, participants addressed critical themes for SME development, including:

 Support for social entrepreneurship;

 Financial tools for women entrepreneurs;

 Access to lending and grant opportunities;

 Banking products and services for SMEs;

 Mechanisms for economic recovery and self-employment support.

Representatives of the Business Woman Club—Hanna Krysiuk, Anya Krysiuk, Yuliia Skichko, and Olha Pavlenko—attended the event. The community’s participation in such initiatives is a vital part of developing female leadership, fostering entrepreneurial projects, and building an environment of mutual professional support.

“We are grateful for the invitation and the opportunity to engage in an open dialogue on developing female entrepreneurship and strengthening Ukraine’s economic resilience.”

The Business Woman Club continues to support initiatives that foster female entrepreneurship, international partnerships, and the creation of new opportunities for Ukrainian women in business.
