Business Woman Club in China: Ukrainian and Chinese Female Entrepreneurs Open New Opportunities for International Partnership

The first day of the Ukrainian Business Woman Club delegation’s business mission to China began with an important international meeting in Qingdao, bringing together representatives of Ukrainian and Chinese business around the development of partnerships, knowledge exchange, and the implementation of joint projects.

As part of the China-Ukraine Trade and Economic Meeting of Women Entrepreneurs, an official meeting took place between the Ukrainian delegation, headed by Business Woman Club President Hanna Krysiuk, and representatives of the Qingdao Women Entrepreneurs Association, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Qingdao, and the Chinese business community.

During the official part of the event, welcoming remarks were delivered by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the PRC to Ukraine Ma Shengkun, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Qingdao and Qingdao International Chamber of Commerce Fan Baocai, President of Business Woman Club Hanna Krysiuk, and President of the Qingdao Women Entrepreneurs Association Zhang Xiumin.

One of the key highlights of the meeting was the signing of a Memorandum of Friendly Cooperation. The document opens new opportunities for expanding international business ties, deepening partnerships, and implementing joint initiatives between Ukrainian and Chinese women entrepreneurs.

The official ceremony was followed by business networking and B2B meetings. The participants had the opportunity to present their fields of activity, exchange experience, establish new contacts, and discuss prospects for future cooperation.

The exchange of commemorative gifts added special symbolism to the meeting. Hanna Krysiuk, President of Business Woman Club, presented Zhang Xiumin, President of the Qingdao Women Entrepreneurs Association, with a personalized brooch created especially for her by the Ukrainian brand Zarmilkas.

The gift served not merely as a keepsake, but as a symbol of attention, respect, and Ukrainian craftsmanship. It also showcased the Ukrainian brand within the framework of this international gathering of female entrepreneurs.

Business Woman Club expresses its gratitude to fellow club member, founder, and owner of the Zarmilkas brand, Liudmyla Shanska, for creating this special gift and providing the opportunity to showcase a Ukrainian brand on an international stage.

An important part of the business mission was the delegation’s visit to the technology center of Qingdao Xiangjian Industrial Engineering Co., Ltd., one of China’s leading tire manufacturers. The enterprise specializes in manufacturing tires for heavy agricultural machinery and automobiles, as well as industrial belts. The company actively develops its international operations and is represented in the markets of Morocco, Malaysia, Thailand, and Turkey.

The Ukrainian delegation was welcomed by the company’s executive leadership, including the Chairman of the Board, the Chief Technology Officer, international business specialists, and Deputy General Manager Ma Aixin. The negotiations were held in an open and constructive atmosphere, with both sides outlining promising avenues for future cooperation.

One of the central topics of discussion was the Chinese side’s readiness to consider technology transfer options to launch production directly in Ukraine. This format potentially opens up prospects for creating new manufacturing capacities, advancing technological partnerships, and strengthening Ukraine’s industrial sector.

The participants specifically emphasized the importance of international businesses entering the Ukrainian market today. In their view, partnerships and joint projects should be established in advance, as competition for investment, technology, and emerging opportunities will only increase with the start of large-scale post-war reconstruction.

During the meeting, the sides also discussed the concept of organizing an industry forum in partnership with chambers of commerce and industry. Such an event could serve as a platform for direct dialogue between enterprises, project presentations, and identifying tangible formats for Ukrainian-Chinese cooperation.

The first day of the Business Woman Club’s business mission in Qingdao marked an important step forward in advancing international business ties.

The signed memorandum, newly formed B2B contacts, discussions with industrial sector leaders, and agreements on future collaboration lay the groundwork for new joint ventures.

Business Woman Club extends its sincere gratitude to the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Ukraine, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the PRC to Ukraine Ma Shengkun, and the Qingdao Women Entrepreneurs Association for the invitation, organization of the visit, warm hospitality, and contribution to strengthening the Ukrainian-Chinese business dialogue.

It is precisely such meetings that create space for long-term international partnership — from personal connections and business introductions to concrete technological and investment projects.
