Business as a New Start: Entrepreneurship School Launched in Moldova

In March 2026, an initiative that has already attracted the attention of the entrepreneurial community was launched in Moldova — a Business School established under the National Congress of Ukrainians of Moldova. The project is implemented with the support of Nova Post Moldova and responds to a very specific need: how to start or relaunch a business in a new country without unnecessary risks.

The format of the school is максимально practical. Instead of theoretical lectures “for the future,” participants immediately work with their real business ideas. It is about the process: testing hypotheses, understanding the market, identifying weak points, and adjusting the business model before investing significant resources.

This approach is especially important for those who are just entering entrepreneurship or are forced to adapt their business to new conditions.

The program is built around the key challenges every entrepreneur in Moldova faces:

  • business creation and registration
  • business planning and financial management
  • marketing and promotion
  • entering new markets
  • freelancing as an income model
  • team management
  • development of professional networks
  • international trade
  • customs procedures and regulations

Special attention is also given to adaptation: how to find your niche, understand the local audience, and maintain a balance between work and personal life.

Another important component is the people. The format encourages live communication (both offline and online participation is possible), teamwork, and case discussions.

In the context of the Moldovan market, this is particularly valuable. Here, connections often matter as much as the product itself. Initiatives like this help participants integrate more quickly into the business environment.

The emergence of such projects is not only about education — it is about economic development through people.

Today, for many Ukrainians in Moldova, entrepreneurship is not just about ambition, but also about stability and the ability to take control of their lives. However, without support, knowledge, and understanding of local rules, this path becomes much more difficult.

That is why such initiatives play an important role:

  • lowering the barrier to entry into business
  • helping to avoid costly mistakes
  • stimulating the creation of new ventures
  • building a supportive community

In the long term, this means more active small and medium-sized businesses, more jobs, and a stronger economy both in Ukraine and in the Republic of Moldova.
