From March 16 to 31, 2026, Buenos Aires hosted the 66th edition of Argentina Fashion Week — the country’s leading fashion event, traditionally bringing together designers, buyers, media representatives, and leaders of the creative industries.
The event is organized by the Asociación Argentina de la Moda, which for many years has been shaping the professional ecosystem of Argentine fashion and supporting emerging talent.

Argentina Fashion Week is more than a runway showcase. It is a business platform where:
● partnerships are established between brands and retail;
● Fall–Winter 2026 collections are presented;
● young designers are supported;
● international collaboration is strengthened (including a special Chile Fashion Week segment).
A particular focus this year was sustainability. The AMSOAR Diseño Sustentable segment demonstrated that Argentine fashion is actively integrating eco-friendly materials and ethical production practices.
The shows were held in iconic venues across the capital, including Palacio San Miguel and Palacio Libertad.
The program brought together both established masters and a new generation of creators.

Among the key names:
● Adrián Brown — honorary guest of the opening;
● Benito Fernández — one of the country’s most renowned designers;
● Verónica de la Canal — an iconic name in Argentine fashion;
● Marcelo Senra, Pía Carregal, and Jorge Rey — representatives of the Luxury Trends segment;
● Julia Cassieri — winner of the Emerging Designers Competition;
● the regional Misiones Fashion Week segment (featuring 10 designers from the province of Misiones).
This year, I had the honor of attending the shows in person. I received an invitation from designer Maria J (South Soul), who presented a swimwear collection — bold, feminine, and energetic — perfectly integrated into the concept of contemporary Latin American aesthetics.
I attended the event as a representative of Businesswoman magazine, observing the shows live, taking photographs, and connecting with designers, entrepreneurs, media professionals, and influencers.
One particularly memorable show was Panni Margot, which invited well-known YouTubers and influencers to participate in the runway presentation. This once again confirms that modern fashion is a synergy of design, digital marketing, and personal branding.

I was impressed by the scale of the organization, the high professional standards of preparation, and the atmosphere of creative support. Argentina Fashion Week demonstrates that Argentine fashion is not only about style, but also about economic impact, export potential, and cultural diplomacy.

For women entrepreneurs and leaders in the creative industries, events like this provide an opportunity to:
● find partners and clients;
● scale their brands;
● integrate into international markets;
● build a personal image in a global environment.
Argentina Fashion Week 2026 reaffirmed that Latin America today is a space of opportunity. And for those who are ready to take action, fashion becomes a powerful instrument of influence, business growth, and international presence.
