On July 9, 2026, the Argentine Republic celebrates a landmark historical date — the 210th anniversary of the declaration of Independence. It was on this day in 1816, in the historic city of San Miguel de Tucumán, that the Declaration of Independence was signed, marking the beginning of the sovereign Argentine state and becoming a symbol of freedom, dignity, and the nation’s aspiration for self-determination.
For Argentines, Independence Day is one of the most important national holidays. On this day, solemn ceremonies, patriotic events, cultural festivals, concerts, and gatherings take place across the country, uniting people around shared values, historical memory, and love for their Homeland.

The celebration of Argentina’s 210th anniversary of Independence took place not only on its territory but also in various countries around the world. In Ukraine, a solemn diplomatic reception on the occasion of the national holiday was held with the participation of representatives of the diplomatic corps, government institutions, business, public organizations, and the cultural community.
The host of the solemn event was the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Argentine Republic to Ukraine, Elena Leticia Mikusinski, who welcomed the guests and emphasized the importance of developing bilateral relations between Argentina and Ukraine, strengthening international dialogue, and supporting cultural ties between the nations.
Among the honored guests of the festive reception was Anna Krysiuk, who personally attended the event in Kyiv at the invitation of the Ambassador. Participation in the celebration was an excellent opportunity to establish new international contacts, discuss prospects for cooperation between Ukraine and Latin American countries, as well as develop women’s leadership and business diplomacy.
The atmosphere of the evening was filled with warmth, mutual respect, and friendship. Guests had the opportunity to get closer acquainted with Argentine culture, traditions, and the country’s modern achievements. Such diplomatic events contribute to the strengthening of international partnerships and open new opportunities for cooperation in the fields of business, education, culture, and public initiatives.
