Ukraine’s younger generation continues to demonstrate exceptional educational achievements on the international stage. A remarkable example is 12-year-old Arina Saraikina, who has officially become the youngest Ukrainian to earn an internationally recognized B2 level of English proficiency.
During the Cambridge English: First examination in Kyiv, Arina scored 163 points, successfully confirming her B2 level. At the time of the examination, she was 12 years, 10 months, and 3 days old.
This outstanding achievement has been officially recognized by the Book of World Records, where it was registered as a new National Record of Ukraine in the categories “First Ever” and “Education.” A B2 (First) qualification demonstrates an upper-intermediate command of English, enabling confident communication, academic study, and effective participation in an international environment.
The official record certification and award ceremony were conducted by Hanna Krysiuk, Founder and CEO of the Book of World Records, together with Yelyzaveta Omelchenko, Executive Director of the organization.
Special diplomas from the Book of World Records were also presented to representatives of the private educational institution MriiDii Rybalskyi in recognition of their contribution to Arina’s achievement. The awards were received by Acting Principal Yuliia Komarynska and English teacher Tetiana Babii for their professional guidance and support.
Arina Saraikina’s achievement is a powerful example of how quality education, determination, and dedicated mentorship enable young people to reach international standards of excellence. Success stories like hers not only inspire future generations but also strengthen Ukraine’s reputation as a country of talented, educated, and globally competitive young people.
